I received a free Pail Liner from Biddykins in exchange for writing this review on the blog. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post about how I look after my cloth nappies and I shared a few details about my basic washing routine. You can read the post here. I mentioned in that post that I had just transitioned from storing my dirty nappies in a Heart Bunny wet bag to storing them in a dry bucket. At the time that I wrote that post, the dry bucket had been working well and then, all of a sudden, (as soon as I hit publish and told the world about it) STINKS!!! All through our bathroom. NOT COOL AT ALL!!! I’m not sure what changed, but needless to say, we needed to make another plan – and quickly!
I contacted Biddykins and Stacey sent me one of their brand new products – a beautiful Pail Liner in a soft green colour. We have been using it for over a month now and I am pleased to report back to you, that it contains the smell well! I am so happy with it! Stacey sells these pail liners for R110! That is really, really affordable! I think that ideally you would need two so that you can alternate between washes, but we are just using the one right now and it has made such a huge difference to our house.
The Biddykins pail liner is made in a beautiful, soft, silky fabric. It is water resistant on the one side and has an elasticated top so that it can fit over most bins or baskets. It is also really big, which is great! At this point I could put my entire child in there and still have space for more nappies! Haha I think it holds up to 25 dirty nappies if I’m not mistaken.
Stacey recommended using the pail liner in a pail that has a lid and leaving it in a well ventilated area.
Unfortunately, we don’t have one of those, so I have been using an old school toweling nappy to cover over the basket.
Even my husband commented on how much better this new system with the pail liner is working – so, thanks Biddykins! You have kept the smell under control in our small house. The only draw back is that it is within reaching range for my almost walking toddler. I may have to come up with another place to keep this nappy bin soon.
The pail liners come in these beautiful colours. I bet you are already picturing how cute one of these will look next to your baby’s changing station. Hey? I know you are! I don’t think any cloth stash is complete without a couple of these. They are that useful and provide excellent value for money!
Biddykins also has a range of new products that I wanted to show you quickly.
Reusable Breast Pads that come in a small wet bag. These look great. I will definitely be buying stock of these when I have my next baby.
Winter leggings for those of us whose babies have bums larger than average due the gorgeous nappy on the inside.
Amber teething necklaces. Made of 100% Baltic Amber and Succinic Acid
Stroller bags. These little cuties attach to the handle of your pram and can store all of your essentials.
Biddykins always offers products that are amazing value for money. Stacey is an absolute pleasure to work with and she runs her company so well. She is efficient and completely on the ball when it comes to orders and helping you buy what you need. I know this because I have bought from her in the past and that is why I was so keen to do this review for Biddykins. They are an awesome company to do business with. You can be sure that you will get what you need at an affordable price!
